Development of the web page of the "Sächsisch-Bayerisches-Städtenetz (Saxony Bavarian city network)":
For the development of the "Sächsisch-Bayerisches-Städtenetz" (Saxony Bavarian city network) webpage (www.saechsisch-bayerisches-staedtenetz.de), complete creation, planning and implementation was required. This internet webpage was built to address both employees of public administration as well as the general public. Integrated within the pages is a calendar of events and a message page with numerous functions all of which can be adjusted and updated by the operators themselves.

Development of software for movement detection and object recognition:
Per the request of Hiersemann Prozessautomation GmbH (www.hiersemann-chemnitz.de) software was developed which forewarns about possible danger situations by means of industrial image processing via co-operation between humans and robots. Condition was the processing in real time - 30 frames per second. This was transcribed by means of intelligent image processing algorithms (difference image analysis with brightness reconciliation) and optimization processes (dynamic adaptation of the analysis range) in the software. It takes place a monitoring of danger areas by means of IEEE-1394 camera. When entering/leaving a dedicated picture area by a person an appropriate reaction can be derived by the system.
Lane recognition into street scenes:
Software was implemented which analyzes road markings using greyscale pictures to determine, through orientation analysis, the confines of driving lanes. This process is verified by analysing elements such as size, form, color, orientation and other Fourier descriptors.
A pre-processed picture complete with pixel manipulations, Sobel filter and contour search was produced. Calculations then take place partly based on the picture and partly on real world representation (from the street).
The positioning of the driving lane was ascertained by usage of Kalman Filter Structures and CFAR algorithms. Predictions of the future lane position are then calculated using past pictures. This prediction is compared with real world data and a new picture is then produced. Lane changes can also be recognized as well as lane obstructions.
Software for the support of sewer drain inspection and picture evaluation:
Pictures taken by inspection robots in sewer pipes was evaluated by the software and examined for potential disruptions in the system. The evaluation used, among others, a contour analysis and comparison of the internal dimensions.

Accounting system for a freight forwarder:
Software for a freight forwarder was developed and implemented for the support and automation of all bookkeeping procedures. This software provided customer, vehicle and bank account administration, automatic invoice printing, payment administration with period monitoring, extensive statistic analysis and filter functions and a pre-processing capability for tax preparation. It was also able to process bills and invoices. The software was able to be accessed over a network.
Travel administration and booking system:
For the streamlining of the administrative and accounting processes at a tour operator software with the following characteristics was developed: Customer administration, travel administration, reservations, production of lists (lists of subscribers, passport lists, etc.), and vacancy overviews.
Shop and catalogue system:
DOMEBA offers a self-developed software system with a local database accessible through a network through which connected clients can offer an online shop or catalogue. The system can be adapted to the desired design and extended functionality be added. The technical basis of the program is PHP4 and MySQL. |
